Chocolate for your greater good

“A piece of chocolate or an ice cream cone can make a bad day good,” says John Elliott, owner of Davidson Chocolate Co.

And while John is thankful for a job that brings happiness to people’s lives on a daily basis — where a piece of chocolate or an ice cream cone can make a bad day good — he recognizes there are needs in our community that can’t be solved with something sweet.  So, to show his gratitude for our community, and to help support organizations special to him, he has designated four Wednesdays as nonprofit benefit days (which he calls “Chocolate for the Greater Good”), when 40% of sales will be donated to that day’s designated nonprofit.

And the day that benefits our organization is this Wednesday, July 27!  This is the perfect time to indulge and support Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region and Hospice & Palliative Care Lake Norman at the same time!

Put me in a chocolate shop and there’s a really good chance I’ll be pleased!  You see, I’ve been to Davidson Chocolate Co., and this chocoholic was not disappointed!  The variety of chocolates is amazing and the truffle selection is truly impressive.  My all-time favorite truffle is the Amaretto followed closely by the Kahlua.  In addition to the chocolates, this little shop offers ice cream too!  With this sweltering weather, you’d better eat it quickly before it melts!

So remember:

• 40% of gross sales on Wednesday, July 27 will be donated to HPCCR/HPCLN.
• This counts for BOTH locations: in Davidson (610 Jetton Street, Ste. 150) and in Dilworth (1235-A East Blvd. in the Harris Teeter Shopping Center).
• Both locations are open from 10am until 7pm.
• It is not necessary for you to present a coupon or flyer for inclusion. However, for performance tracking purposes, you are encouraged to mention how you heard about the event.
• Corporate/ bulk/ wedding orders are excluded.
• Enjoy!
