Tomorrow is shrimp and grits Thursday

In the mood for some Maryland-style crab cakes?  How about shrimp and grits or a veggie burger with Havarti cheese and a sweet soy glaze?  Is your mouth watering yet?

Every Thursday in July, you can indulge your craving for fine food by visiting 131 Main Restaurant and “dining for hospice.”  131 Main has graciously decided to donate a percentage of their daily proceeds from all three Charlotte locations to Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region.  You can go for lunch or dinner, it doesn’t matter.  But you must tell your server that you are dining for hospice.  Don’t forget that part–it’s very important!

There’s no more perfect place than 131 Main to take a client for lunch, celebrate a special occasion, or simply go out for a fantastic meal.  You’ll have an amazing dining experience and you’ll be supporting HPCCR at the same time.  It’s a win-win.  Start off with their cast iron cornbread, then maybe have the cedar plank salmon or the baby back ribs.  And you’ll have to save room for dessert.  They have banana cream pie.  Enough said!

So take a minute and check out their menu.  You won’t need any more convincing after you see what 131 Main has to offer!  Believe us, your stomach will thank you!

Awesome!! I just made our lunch reservations for tomorrow (online, by the way) and can hardly wait. Thanks to your blog, my stomach is ready NOW.

  2. Well, I have never had shrimp and gritts. Growing up in Cincinnati we did eat grits but not a lot of shrimp. I have heard of it, but you know looking at the menu at 131 Main, I just might have to try it. But I want you to know that I am a team player so, this one will be for you HPCCR!!!!!
